• CUBA WORK TEAM: January 24 - February 7, 2009 (2 weeks)
Approximate cost: $1800

The Cuba work team fills up quickly, so get your name in early. We
will spend time worshipping with our Cuban Friends as well as continue
construction on the yearly meeting building in Holguin.
• KENYA MEDICAL TEAM: March 2008 for 2 weeks
(Medical Team has been rescheduled for Fall 2008.

Registration deadline: December 1, 2007
The medical team (open to doctors, nurses and medical technicians)
will be training staff at the Lugulu Hospital. In addition to their work
on the hospital, visits will be made to some of the other nearby mission
sites and a trip to a wildlife preserve. There will ample opportunity
to learn about the Kenyan culture and worship with other Friends in local
meetings.
• RAMALLAH: June/July 2008 for 3 weeks
Approximate cost: $2500
8-10 team members
Registration deadline: April 1, 2008
Max and Jane Carter, North Carolina Friends, lead this trip every summer.
Many team members are Guilford students, but don't let that hinder you
from registering for this exciting visit to the holy land. Each year is
filled with visits to and with interesting places and people.
• FRIENDS UNITED MEETING & QUAKER HILL CONFERENCE CENTER,
Richmond, Indiana: October 6-8, 2008
Registration deadline: September 15, 2008
Friends United Meeting and Quaker Hill Conference Center is offering
a work team to do some much-needed repairs to the building and grounds.
You will have the opportunity to meet the office staff at Friends United
Meeting and Quaker Hill Conference Center, and tour a couple Quaker sites
in the county. Donations are welcome to cover the costs of hosting and
supplies. Food will be provided.
All work team dates and cost are subject to change due to airline prices.
Work teams may also be cancelled due to lack of participation.
