Though Friends United Meeting does not have an official program in Haiti, we know that many Friends are concerned for the people of Haiti who are suffering due to the recent earthquake. Because of communication with Keith and Judy Kendall, Richmond, Indiana, Friends whose son and family have been working in Haiti for many years, we suggest that donations can be sent through:

We are also aware that American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is working on an appropriate response to the crisis in Haiti.
The Kendalls have been notified that their family is okay as they are located about 25 miles from the earthquake epicenter. The devastation has reached that far, however, and the need is very great
